Cookies Policy
This page lists the cookies and similar storage this Service uses, why we use them, and how you can change your choice from any country.
Last updated 21 September 2026. Applies worldwide.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We also mention local storage, which stays in the browser until you clear it. Cookies can be first-party (set by this site) or third-party (set by another company). They can be strictly necessary, or optional.
In the EU/EEA, the UK and similar countries, optional cookies need your consent before they are set. Necessary cookies can run without that extra yes, because the Service cannot work without them.
2. How we ask
The first time you open the Service, a small bar at the bottom of the screen asks you to Accept or Deny optional cookies. Your choice is stored in local storage under the key cookie-consent, and the bar stays hidden on later visits until you change it. You can open the bar again with the button at the top of this page.
Necessary cookies stay on in every choice. Optional cookies stay off until you turn them on.
3. Cookies we use today
| Name | Type | Purpose | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| sid | Necessary cookie | Keeps you signed in. HttpOnly session token. Not used for ads. | Up to 30 days, or until you log out |
| cookie-consent | Necessary (local storage) | Remembers whether you clicked Accept or Deny. | Until you clear the browser or change the choice |
| ds-visitor | Analytics (local storage) | A random id so repeat visits can be counted. Set only after Accept. | Until you clear the browser or choose Deny |
| ds-session | Analytics (session storage) | Groups page views from one visit. Set only after Accept. | Until the tab closes, or 30 minutes of quiet |
Accept turns on first-party page counts: the path, a random visitor id, a session id, and the time. Those stay in this site’s database. No advertising tag, analytics vendor, or marketing cookie is loaded. Deny stores only the choice itself.
4. Optional categories
- Analytics — page counts for this site, stored only after Accept. No third-party analytics tag.
- Marketing — would be used for ads or remarketing. Not installed today.
If we add a tool in one of those categories, we will only run it when your stored choice allows that category, and we will name the tool in this table.
5. Third parties
Hosting, the database and image generation (Vercel, Turso, Replicate) process requests on our servers. They do not set marketing cookies in your browser through this site. Their own sites have their own cookie notices if you visit them directly.
6. Your browser
You can block or delete cookies in the browser settings. If you block the sid cookie you will not stay logged in. Blocking local storage may show the popup again on the next visit.
7. Changes
If we add, rename or extend a cookie, we will update this page and the popup. A new optional cookie will not run until you consent to that category.
